Why he reads your past before your future
A chart can be wrong. Birth times are recorded carelessly, and a wrong chart gives a confident wrong answer - which is how most people end up with five contradictory readings. So he checks the chart against two or three things that have already happened in your life. If the past matches, the chart is sound. Only then does he say anything about what is coming.
